If You Struggle With Self-Confidence, Check This Out

Don’t we all struggle with self-confidence? I know I do!

There’s this crazy idea in the wild world of weight loss that if we hate ourselves enough, torture ourselves enough, and shame and guilt ourselves enough, that we will end up happy, thin and confident.

But this is NOT the path to happiness. Hatred and self-loathing only bring more hatred and self-loathing into your life. I’m so excited to share this inspiring TED Talk from Athletic Director Dr. Ivan Joseph. Dr Joseph says this about self-confidence…

“Self confidence is the ability or the belief in yourself to accomplish any task, no matter the odds, no matter the difficulty, no matter the adversity. The belief that you can accomplish it.”

Watch this video to discover the 4 simple (yet seriously powerful) practices you can use to boost your self-confidence starting TODAY.

“I’m the captain of my ship and the master of my fate.”

Love it, and if you don’t say it, no one else will! Do you have any favorite confidence-building tips? Would love to hear from you in the comments below.

Tons of love,

Thank you for inspiration talk by Dr. Ivan Joseph. I have a small ship wheel on a chain I wear and when I start to doubt myself I rub and hold it and remind myself that I am in control of my destiny and steer it where I want. That I have to trust myself and my decisions. The lecture by Dr. Joseph just confirmed that even further for me.
    Thanks, Christine
